Ride right in the city
Located at the end of Ellis St. just off on downtown Kelowna, Knox Mountain Park is a multi use municipal park. Users can access the park’s trails by driving to the first up the paved access road (gate open summer months only), by climbing up the road itself (available from 12 - 8 pm daily during the frost-free season) or climbing singletrack.
Since 2011, MTBCO has been collaborating with the City of Kelowna on the development of mountain biking trails on Knox Mountain. Currently Knox Mountain is one of the only municipal parks that has downhill designated trails as well as a balance of hiking, biking, and multi-use trails. Continuing this relationship, MTBCO regularly provides input on trail improvements and hosts community trail maintenance days.
