There is tons of deadfall all over Crawford now (reports by various riders). FOSS has been out doing some clearing but I'm sure there is tons to do. I could find out whats been done if anyone plans to do some 'rogue' clearing…

I will try and do some riding up there this weekend. Will bring along my folding saw and do what I can. Do we know where some of the smaller falls are?

There is big and small deadfall everywhere. From the top of Connector on the Pink Hwy all the way up. Tried to do Reace Classic down and it was a mess as well as Earring etc. I cleared small stuff on Race Classic. With bigger fall, we could pile rocks and logs to get over it as opposed to cutting it. Nice to have some natural features on the trail as well.

In sum, everywhere you go there is deadfall to clear. Hopefullly it creates an impetus for better overall clearing in there. Be careful when clearing that another tree doesn't falll on you. It is precarious in there.

As stated in my other post….

Brant and I attempted to clear connector to pink hwy to lost lake but the heat was playing havok on our saws monday night so we were only able to get sections of connector done.

Tucker went up tuesday morning and cleared vapor to pink hwy….at least the first part of it anyways…he said vapor had 300+ trees down.

I'm heading up there on and off the next little bit so any leads would be great mike.
