I was wondering if anyone has updates on Trail Damage from the fires. I am afraid that McDougal Rim may have been hit. And unaware of Powers and Smith Creek.

Powers is fine.  Smith is well away from any fire activity.  McDougall was burned in the lower sections. Probably not all that badly though.  The intensity of these fires was a lot lower than Gillard 2003.  A lot of the action was just ground fire, which is good for the area overall.

mcdougle was a writ off before the fire….

I'm affraid atv's have turned the entire trail into horrible double track.
