OK, so now what.  Can we get some info on whats happening in club land.  How is the club progressing, inquireing minds want to know.  There is alot of people that are singing the same tune as Ryan, me included, we havn't seen much happen yet.

The official word on the minutes is MIA, my computer crashed bad and I could not retreive the info I saved re:last meeting. Last time I don't use my laptop for a meeting, put minutes on paper transfered them to my home rig and presto gone for good and I had tossed the paper version out sorry for the problem just growing pains I guess. The general idea of the meeting was the plan for the Gillard Trail Day which has come and gone now with some success, the other main points were the movie premier which is smokes dept. and the bridge wood which we now have also. Any thing to add that I missed the meeting was sort of waste of time sorry ppl.

I agree, meeting soon.

Premiere is coming along.  I have emailed the exec. email list about what needs to be done.  Gary from CPath was going to be point man for getting it on.

Smoke, may I suggest you start delegating people to specific tasks.  There seems to be lots to do but I don't know if anyone is responsible for doing them… May be a posted list of action items and the people assigned to them would be helpful.

OK, we need: 

Announcements in newspapers.  Radio ads not a bad call.  If we need a budget, we need to get some sponsorship via local business to pay for it.  Find the costs of the ads first, then do a quick shop around to see if anyone is interested in buying in.

Posters in shops

Tickets (printed, distributed, tracked).

Co-ordination with theatre regarding ticket sales and tech. details for the show itself.  Also beer sales, personnel to work the door if required, etc.

I'm available for emcee duties, and I've asked Tippie if he'd be interested.  Haven't heard back yet, though.  If there's anyone else interested who's able to speak clearly and be moderately not boring in front of 600 people, speak up.

At our next meeting I would like to discuss having a Gillard page on the MTBco web site. It would correspond with the soon to be Gillard sign that states "for trail info visit MTBco.ca". The page would include the following:

History, trail map, build a new trail info, adopt a trail info…
