Toonie Rides are starting June 9th at Smith Creek on the Westside. If you’ve never done a Toonie Ride, they’re similar to a race in that there’s a set route and everyone starts at the same time. Unlike a race, it’s a lot less money and there’s nothing on the line but pride. They’re a great time and well worth the measly $2 entry fee. If you go to them regularly, you can gauge your performance against others in the riding community, and probably meet some new riding partners as well.
