Regional District Supports Mountain Bike Strategy

 

 

 

More good news for the future of mountain biking in the Central Okanagan…The Regional District, a partner in the development of the regional mountain bike strategy, has now presented the strategy to their board and it has been accepted.

Mountain Bike Strategy Supported – The Regional Board has received the Kelowna and Area Mountain Bike Strategy final report. The Regional District will be represented as a partner on the proposed Coordinating Committee to continue the multi-jurisdictional cooperative approach to mountain biking in the area. Among the priorities identified in the report for the Regional District are mountain bike trails within Rose Valley and Glen Canyon regional parks.
