Kelowna 2030: Opportunities for Participation
The final phase of the “Greening Our Future” initiative featured at www.kelowna2030.ca is now underway. A draft policy document setting clear directions for a revised Official Community Plan focused on sustainability is now taking shape. There are a few more ways you can provide your input and ideas for Kelowna’s future but time is short!
1. Have you filled out Survey 2?
· There are 4 days left to fill out the online survey. Survey 2 closes at midnight on Friday, September 12.
· Share the survey with family and friends! Forward this email to others in your community so that they too can participate in Greening Our Future.
2. You are invited to Open House 2
· Please join the discussions at the Kelowna 2030 Open House on September 17 at Fire Hall #1 on 2255 Enterprise Way from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Open House will introduce the first draft of the Official Community Plan, featuring 10 bold moves for sustainability, as well as policy directions and survey results.
